Board Hires New High School Middle School Principal

After the second round of interviews Monday night the Board of Education hired Leane McNay as the High School / Middle School Principal with an unanimous vote.
Leane McNay started her education career at Marion C. Early High School in the fall of 1995, as a vocational business teacher, FBLA and Polk County League sponsor, and Yearbook and Newspaper advisor. She also taught business and was FBLA sponsor at Hillcrest High School in Springfield. In 1999 she became assistant principal at Parkview High School, a position she held for six years. Following that, she assumed the high school principal position at Eldon High School (just north of Lake of the Ozarks) for four years.
McNay has a B.S. in Business Education/Office Administration, a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration (Secondary Principal), and is currently working on her Ed.S. in Educational Administration (Superintendency), all through Missouri State University.
